Hi, I'm Lucy DiMino, I started working at the Rocky Cola Cafe 24 years ago when 'servers' were still waitresses! We wore short denim skirts, black polos, red socks, red aprons and red visors in this Rock n Roll red diner! It was busy, loud and full of music from our record-filled jukebox. A few things have changed since then: our local nearby cities have grown and expanded with restaurants, entertainment, outdoor malls and special events. Honolulu Avenue has become a little 'Mayberry' with a small-town, home-town feeling. Now, it's our local customers, our community, our friends who fill our booths. I know many of them by name and feel blessed to be part of this little piece of Honolulu Avenue history.

Rocky Cola is still busy, loud and full of music from our CD-filled jukebox, but for me, it is now also filled with love. We have evolved into a family diner which my family is a huge part of. I started working here when my two sons were 6 and 2 years old. My son Scott, now 30 years old, worked for Rocky Cola for 13 years. Now he is a certified, personal fitness trainer, married and a father of two daughters. Yes, that makes me a grandmother!! My son Lucas has worked with me at Rocky Cola for over 10 years. He lends his calm, friendly nature to an often chaotic business. I'm happy he is here helping me run the show. Lucas picks up the slack for me when I get bombarded with phone calls and errands. He, like his brother, is also into health and physical fitness - it's a good thing we serve fitness entrees here!

My sister, Antoinette, came on board in 1999 after working for a local bank for 13 years! She has a professional attitude, but with a great sense of humor - customers love her! She is also Rocky Cola's bookkeeper and my fellow cupcake baker!

My sister, MaryEllen, has been with us for 7 years. She is sweet and kind, and puts the concept of family into this family diner. She is well-loved and has many 'regulars' who come in just to see her!

My daughter-in-law, Sara, has been part of the Rocky Cola family for about 18 months, but in my heart for over 7 years. Customers love her outgoing nature and her ability to remember orders without writing anything down! She is a wonderful asset to the restaurant and a wonderful mother to my two granddaughters!
